See You In Another World

I’ll see you in another world, my love, The world which would be far better than this, Where there would be beacons of joy and pure bliss. Where we being together won’t feel amiss, Where there would be a delight in every flutter of the kiss. I’ll see you in another world, my love, Where there would be no evil desire, And the people won’t just breathe the fire. I shiver and shift on my bed to search my phone that I kept on the nightstand before getting on the bed. But wait… It… It isn’t there. I shiver again and fiddle around to find the switch of the bedside lamp on the nightstand then finally turn it on. I squeeze my eyes shut with the sudden illumination. Though the light is not that bright, it hurt my eyes after being in the creepy darkness for a long time. It might have been just a few minutes but the darkness was just too much that it felt like hours. I slowly open my eyes and look at the nightstand but nope, my phone is still not there. I frown at the table as if it gulped down my phone or something. As far as I remember, I really did kee
