Such is an escape, my own world of words.
Hello, everyone! I’m Alisha and welcome to Words Unveiled. First of all, I want to thank all of you people who have taken some time out of their busy lives and are now reading this. A big, fat thank you!
Before I start blabbering about what my blog is about, let’s unveil some secrets of mine as well. I’m an Electronics Engineer but I think I really needed those four years to realize that I’m supposed to be a writer and even though it was a bit (okay, a lot!) painful to study all about technology and physics (I hate it!), it actually gave me the time to embrace my writing skills and polish it off.
I love chocolates as much as I hate physics. Okay, I’ll be honest I love chocolates a lot more than that. In fact, people bribe me with chocolates to write poetries for them. And I love books even more. No, seriously, I’m the most lethal bookworm! I love makeup but don’t know how to do it. So kohl is all that you’ll find in my vanity. Because eyes talk!
I love to live in a fantasy world but I know life is not all about fairy tales and unicorns. There are some dark times and then there are rainbows as well. That’s why the world of stories is a beautiful escape that I’m always up for. And here in the Words Unveiled, I wish to do the same for you.
In Words Unveiled, I’m gonna share my stories and poetries that just pop out of mind from nowhere at any time, literally. Some of them will make you smile, some I hope will make you cry, some might express grief and some might make you laugh. I wish to take you on a blissful journey with the short stories that I will share here and I really hope that my poems touch your heart. And hey, I am also gonna publish my debut novel very soon. Surprise! Surprise! Stick with me to find more about it.
I believe that the deeper you dig, the more treasure you’ll find in this world of stories and words. Everyone, once in a while, needs a break from reality and feel like immersing themselves in a world unknown. Some find solace in music, some find it in movies. I find it in words and books (a lot of books!). I hope you find it in words as well. I also wish that you like my little world of words that I created here. And if you fall in love with it, make sure you tell me all about that as well.
It takes some people a lifetime,
A lifetime to find what makes them whole,
I’ve finally found what consumes me the most,
And so realized that words are a part of my soul.
Together, let’s reveal a new world; let’s find a few glimpses of happiness in few short minutes. Let’s unveil some words!
